Birthdays, family gatherings and client dinners: 8 to 40 guests

Choosing the space by party size

Bếp Rơm takes groups of 8 to 40 guests, in three ways:

• 8 guests: the round table for eight (deposit VND 100,000 per guest, VND 800,000 for the group) or the private room if you ask. Book at least 24 hours ahead; we hold the table 20 minutes.
• 9 to 14 guests: the private room, 12 seats (14 with extra chairs), three hours a sitting, no room fee. Minimum spend VND 3,000,000 at lunch and VND 3,600,000 at dinner; a VND 1,500,000 deposit comes off the bill. Book at least 48 hours ahead.
• 15 to 40 guests: the covered veranda and yard, plus the private room above 32 guests. By phone only, on 0963 929 241, at least 7 days ahead. Times, deposit and cancellation are agreed on the call.

Food for a group

Ordering a mâm (a set of dishes laid for the whole table) is the quickest way for a big table. The round mâm for six is VND 1,290,000 and the private room mâm for ten is VND 2,440,000; a mâm is 5% under the sum of single dishes and you can swap dishes at single prices. Groups of 15 or more should call so the kitchen can plan the number of tables and the pace of courses.

Birthday cakes, drinks, vegetarian and allergies

You may bring a birthday cake: we cut and serve it at no charge. We do not allow outside drinks. We have 4 high chairs; ask when you book.

If anyone is vegetarian or allergic, tell us before you settle the dishes. The kitchen is shared, so we cannot promise there are no traces, and we track only nine allergen groups.

Two worked examples

First, Chị Hân books the private room for 12 on a Saturday evening for her mother’s 70th birthday: two round mâm, one lẩu mắm, drinks and dessert, a total of VND 3,712,000. The VND 1,500,000 deposit comes off the bill, leaving VND 2,212,000 to pay.

Second, Anh Huy books the round table for 8 on a Wednesday lunchtime, 24 hours ahead. The deposit is 8 × VND 100,000 = VND 800,000. He orders one round mâm plus grilled tiger prawns with chilli salt, stir-fried beef with jasmine flowers, two bowls of rice, four roasted brown rice teas and four fresh coconuts: a total of VND 2,118,000, VND 1,318,000 after the deposit. He arrives 10 minutes late and messages us on Zalo, so the table is held.
